The producers of Bigg Boss 14 have tried everything to make the reality show entertaining but have struggled miserably. Viewers had a taste of what was to come on the first day of the season, when the show was very long and many viewers were fast asleep by the time the final contestant was revealed.
On Colors TV in October, the show debuted with 14 contestants and three Toofani Seniors – Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan, and Hina Khan. And it was at this point that the show’s storyline unraveled. The three former Big Brother contestants were on the show as coaches, which had never been done before. The contestants were severely harmed as a result of the seniors’ dominance, and they were unable to fully participate in the game.
TOO QUICKLY ELIMINATED FRESH FACES
Shehzad Deol, Sara Gurpal, and Nishant Malkhani were among the contestants who were eliminated before they could play to their full potential. As a result, contestants like Shakti Kapoor, Aman Verma, Sofia Hayat, Arshi Khan, and Ashmit Patel have been added in the past. There was no big scandal around any of the candidates this year. As a result, the producers devised a challenge in which housemates were required to reveal a hidden secret in order to earn the immunity stone. During the challenge, Eijaz Khan revealed that he had been molested as a child, and Rubina Dilaik revealed that she and her husband Abhinav Shukla were on the verge of divorce before joining Bigg Boss 14. Although these major revelations couldn’t save the show’s dwindling ratings.
Salman Khan has reprimanded Bigg Boss 14 housemates on many occasions, often for doing wrong and sometimes for being right or even righteous. He’s been known to make fun of contestants who have attempted to be peacemakers on the program. Contestants are often seen arguing over insignificant issues, and the slang used on the show is obscene. With terms like ‘nalla,’ ‘nalli,’ and ‘chhuchhundar,’ watching the show is not a fun experience.
The producers recalled old BB contestants to save their sinking ship after trying all of the tips and tricks. As Challengers, Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan, Manu Punjabi, Arshi Khan, Kashmera Shah, and Vikas Gupta competed in BB 14. Rakhi was the only one of the six challengers that audiences loved seeing on the competition, since she was the show’s most engaging competitor, even more than the current contestants. BIGG BOSS 14 HAS TURNED INTO A JOGGING PARK
The number of re-entries seen in BB 14 is incredible. Previously, a re-entry was a big deal on the programme, but this season, every second contestant that has exited the house has returned. It all started when Kavita Kaushik re-entered the house after being voted out due to a lack of votes. Her time on the show was short-lived, as she voluntarily left after a heated argument with Rubina Diliak. Vikas Gupta, who was kicked out of the house for dragging Arshi Khan in the shower, re-entered to re-exit due to health problems, and Devoleena Bhattacharjee joined him. Other BB 14 contestants who were kicked off and returned include Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni, and Nikki Tamboli. It doesn’t stop there: Eijaz Khan, who had recently left the home, will be returning.
